Liverpool confirms another signing after deadline day after 2-month transfer process
After a drawn-out two months of negotiations, Liverpool have officially signed young midfield player Alvin Ayman from Wolves.
The Reds originally reached an agreement on the deal in the middle of June but because of Ayman’s initial scholarship status, the transfer was postponed because of the required five-step review for youth players.
With an Instagram post thanking Wolves for helping him grow over the previous two years the adaptable young player who has demonstrated his skills as a center-back and a box-to-box midfielder, finally announced his transfer to Liverpool.
Liverpool signing the young gem
Ayman is expected to join Liverpool’s U18 team for a transfer fee estimated to be between £1. 5 million and £2 million.
The hope is that he can advance through the academy quickly.
Rio Ngumoha a winger for Chelsea who is also going through the Premier League‘s transfer review process is expected to join Liverpool continuing the team’s focus on signing high-potential youth talent.
Ayman and possibly Ngumoha are promising additions for Liverpool U18s who have lost their first four games of the season but there is hope for the future.
Under Arne Slot, the club’s strategy places a strong emphasis on nurturing young talent to bolster their academy pipeline to achieve long-term success by accelerating these prospects into the senior team.
Liverpool are proven place for turning young talents into world-class players Ngumoha and Ayman are next in the line to fulfil their potential at Anfield.
