Liverpool came from behind twice to earn a point against newly promoted Fulham at Craven Cottage

The Reds started their premier league 2022/23 campaign away from home as they faced the Champions of Championship Fulham at home. Fulham’s previous Premier League win was against Liverpool on 7th march 2021 as they were fighting to stay in the top flight. But they were still relegated and they are back this season after winning the second league. Moreover, Fulham would like to keep up their performance from the Championship. And would want to prove that they belong in the top flight.

Liverpool travels to London with Injury woes as the Reds come to the game with nine players injured. Kostas Tsimikas, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Diego Jota, Ibrahima Konate, Kaide Gordon, Caoimhin Kelleher, Calvin Ramsay. Therefore the Reds didn’t have their full squad strength as they can make 5 substitutes this season. Liverpool had a 17-year-old, one 18-year-old and 20-year-old players in their lineup.

The Reds continue their unbeaten record this year and Salah becomes the first player to score a goal in the opening game for six consecutive years. Liverpool were slightly off from their style but bounced back and made sure we salvage something out of the game. Thiago limped off the turf with a hamstring problem, the boss and the fans are hoping that he won’t get added to the list.

The season has just begun and the Reds have nearly 10 players under the injury list.
