Liverpool can complete their first signing even before the summer transfer window starts

Liverpool have been linked with Evan Ndicka as the Eintracht Frankfurt defender is currently free to sign a pre-contract agreement.
Klopp looks to add to his tally of signing 7 players for free with his sights on the Frenchman, who is available as a free agent.
Even though midfielder, Bellingham, from the German league remains their top target, Ndicka could act as a replacement for Joe Gomez, who is rumoured to be departing the Anfield club.
With Klopp’s focus on investing mainly in the middle of the park next season, Liverpool have been linked to many midfielders. Bellingham, Mount, and Nunes are said to be a few the Reds are eager to sign.
With a couple of midfielders said to be departing Anfield, it would take three or more midfield signings for Liverpool to get back to the heights they had previously managed to reach. However, such business, considering today’s market, could cost up to £200m.
Meanwhile, even though midfield has been inconsistent this season, the defence has been shaky at times as well. Although, Alisson has been brilliant for Klopp, the men in front of him have exposed the Brazilian shot-stopper at times.
Moreover, with the possible departures of Nat Phillips, Joel Matip, Rhys Williams, and Joe Gomez, the Reds would lack the depth that is deemed necessary to fight for major trophies.
This would be a perfect opportunity to sign Evan Ndicka from Frankfurt, who is available on a free transfer. Furthermore, this would help the Reds in prioritizing the necessary funds elsewhere and bring in a few midfielders.
What would Evan Ndicka offer to Liverpool?
The 23-year-old is a pacey left-sided center-back, and can also cover at left-back or in defensive midfield. Moreover, he is a Europa League winner with Eintracht Frankfurt last season. Also, he has earned valuable Champions League experience with the Bundesliga outfit during the current campaign as a result.
The Frenchman stands at 6ft 3 and is a threat at set pieces and has also scored 4 goals in Bundesliga last season. He has also played with Konate, where they have played for France in their youth ranks.
Moreover, the defender is now in his final 3 months of contract with Frankfurt. This means that the clubs could reach out to the player directly without the permission of the Bundesliga club.
However, the English side faces competition from a number of clubs including Arsenal, Spurs, PSG, and Barcelona. But with Liverpool being highly linked to the defender, it is likely that the Frenchman could end up at Anfield.
