Liverpool youngster Ben Doak currently on loan at Middlesbrough shined for Scotland against Croatia yesterday. The 19-year-old played one of his best games in a Scotland shirt and helped them get an important 3 points in Nations League group A.
The current loan move is looking to be benefitting his development. With only 10 senior appearances for the senior team, Doak will be hoping this loan move will help him with a permanent spot in the senior team.

Ben Doak with an outrageous skill against Gvardiol for Scotland
The 19 year old earned his 5th appearance for Scotland senior team in their Nations League game against Croatia and needless to say it was a night to remember for him.
In the 18th minute of the match Ben Doak playing on the right for Scotland appeared to flick the ball behind Josko Gvardiol who was closing in on him in an outrageous skill.
The Daily Record gave him a 8/10 rating in their post match player ratings. BBC Scotland described Doak as ‘fearless’ and ‘electrifying’ in their post match review.

Ben Doak also played an important role in John McGinn’s late winner for Scotland. Ben Doak took on Manchester City defender Josko Gavardiol again and gave the cut back for McGinn to finish. This move from the 19-year-old proved to be decisive for Scotland as they secured all 3 points.
