Liverpool set to swoop for €40M La Liga wonderkid in blockbuster transfer
Alberto Moleiro – one of La Liga’s most exciting young talents, is a rising star at Las Palmas and Liverpool are reportedly considering a move of €40 million for him.
With three goals in just seven games this 2024–25 season, including an outstanding performance against Real Madrid, the 20-year-old midfielder is off to a great start.
Is Moleiro the next Liverpool target?
Moleiro is the driving force behind Las Palmas offense, thanks to his technical skill ability to slip past defenders and accuracy in confined spaces.
Liverpool and other major European teams are keeping a close eye on him as his stock rises.
His adaptability is very good, he can play in both advanced positions and central midfield, fits in nicely with Liverpool manager Arne Slot’s tactical philosophy making him a desirable target for the Reds.
Given that Moleiro’s asking price of €40 million, Reds are aware that it could increase as the season goes on, Las Palmas is determined to hang onto their star for as long as possible.
But given his maturity and football acumen at such a young age Liverpool see Moleiro as a perfect fit for their long-term plans.
Moleiro is a top target despite the fact that no formal bid has yet been made because of his ability to strengthen Liverpool’s midfield and possibly make a smooth transition to the Premier League.
Liverpool will continue to monitor the young Spaniard closely as the season progresses because they believe that signing him could be a huge coup for their ability to compete in the future.
