A massive win in a night to remember for Liverpool fans. Winless against Real Madrid for 15 years, this win was more than a victory for the fans. Goals from Mac Allister and Gakpo helped Liverpool in a dominant display against Real Madrid.

Ibou Konate impressive for Liverpool once again
Ibou Konate has been in amazing form for the Reds this season. The Frenchman has been pivotal in defense along with the captain Virgil Van Dijk.
During the match TNT sports commentator Darren Fletcher was left impressed with Ibou Konate when he dispossesed his international teammate Kylian Mbappe. “Konate – he’s been like a wall!” said Darren Fletcher on the Liverpool defender Ibou Konate.
However fans are awaiting the extend of the injury he picked at the end of the match yesterday. Konate was seen limping of the pitch with the physios and looked to be in serious pain.

Not only Ibou Konate, Conor Bradley left the pitch with a hamstring injury, both the players are set to be asessed by the Liverpool staff.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold back on the bench yesterday we can expect him start against City. With Ibou Konate also injured, we might see Joe Gomez partnering Virgil Van Dijk against Manchester City on Sunday at Anfield.
