LFC announced Nunez as their player of the month. Darwin’s exceptional performance in November didn’t go unnoticed.

Yesterday The Reds announced on their official page that the Uruguay star boy had won the Standard Charter player of the month for November.

Nunez & LFC looking for silverware

The Uruguayan striker is still looking for the elite form that he had while playing for Benfica. After an unfortunate knockout from World Cup, the former Benfica forward seems more than ready to make a return on the field.

The 23-year-old was heavily criticized for his £85M worth. He is in constant comparison with Man City forward Erling Haaland. Klopp still believes that it is just a matter of time before the Uruguayan talisman starts performing up to the desired expectations.

Nunez looking for a perfect opportunity to prove his critics wrong. He scored 3 goals and set up another in the last 4 matches in all competitions.

Darwin impressed the German coach last season with his impressive performance against LFC in the Champions League. After the departure of Sadio Mane, the head coach of Merseyside giants bought him to strengthen the attacking trio.

Now or Never

The Reds are currently sitting below the top half of the table. Liverpool are just below their arch-rivals Manchester United, at 6th position. While the Uruguayan player looks determined to showcase his real worth in Premier League.

Liverpool are currently suffering from injury issues with limited attacking options at the front. Salah and Darwin remain there only two reliable resources until Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz return from injury.

The duo needs to deliver their top-notch performance in the second half of the season to take the English giants back to the top 4.

Klopp is expecting a fierce comeback from his troops in the second half of the campaign.
