Liverpool icon Mohamed Salah will soon be signing a new contract agreement with the club to extend his stay.
The Merseyside giants have been enjoying a fine form since the beginning of this 2024-25 season and are the table-toppers in both Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
Leading by a significant margin in both competitions, the Reds are one of the strongest, if not the strongest candidates to win the silverwares.
New manager Arne Slot and his Anfield men have managed to score goals in 20 out of 21 matches across all competitions and have conceded significantly lesser number of goals.
And most of the credit for scoring goals can be attributed to star forward Mohamed Salah who has bagged 16 goals and 13 assists across all competitions, most of any LFC player.
However, the Egyptian international’s contract turmoil has been worrying people around the club. But this recent update has provided the much needed positivity.

According to a recent report by Jose Felix Diaz via Spanish media outlet Marca, Salah is ‘close to remaining’ at the Merseyside club. The report also stated that he’ll be staying for another year.
Another report via CaughtOffside stated that Salah has agreed a two-year deal with the club and the announcement might be made public by the end of this month.
The Egyptian King has been a consistent performer since joining the Anfield club back in 2017. His quality and class have only improved with each passing season and the stats clearly portray that.
Securing his services furthermore means the club will continue to thrive with his constant improvement.
