Konate reveals something that Slot told his team in the halftime
Yesterday was an interesting clash in the Premier League between Wolves and the Merseyside Club. Even after Rayan Ait-Nouri leveled the scores, Mo Salah made sure the Reds went home with a 2-1 win.
Now, Konate has come forward with a message that Arne Slot sent when he sent in the first half of yesterday. Although the Reds could not identify any opening, it was Diogo Jota who pulled off a stunning cross. He placed the ball for the Liverpool center-back who converted it into a goal.
However, Konate revealed on LFC TV GO a lot about what Slot and his team faced yesterday at the match in Molineux Stadium.
“It was a big fight against Wolves. The most important thing for us was to take the three points.
We are very happy and now we have to be focused for the next game. But we have to learn about what we missed – and I think this is the most important”
Slot was not happy with the team and Konate further revealed the halftime message from the Dutchman. Liverpool were falling behind in the first half after some mistakes that the Reds did.
“The first half was very hard for the team because we were late, and this is what the manager said (at half-time) – we need more concentration and more aggression when we start the pressing.“
