Kaide Gordon, a star in the making for Liverpool football club

Gordon Kaide started his football career by joining Derby County at the age of eight. He made one appearance for them in the Championship and has spent 8 years there.

Liverpool were fortunate to get him in February for a price of 1 million pounds. He played for the Liverpool U18 side in the second half of last season. He ended on a high note by notching up 6 goals to his name.

The plan is that he would spend the pre-season with Klopp’s boys before joining the U23 side. The journey with senior players would surely improve him as a player and enhance his growth. As a result, he would turn out to be much sharper when he joins the first-team squad.

Jurgen Klopp would certainly be having plans for this young budding star. For his calibre, he might challenge Liverpool Talisman Mohammed Salah for the right-wing spot. This gives Liverpool another hope as an alternative if in case injuries strike them again in the future.
