Jurgen Klopp’s shocking response to Jude Bellingham link

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has laughed off signing Jude Bellingham in the January transfer window. The Borussia Dortmund star midfielder is currently the hottest property in Europe at the moment.
From the start of this transfer saga, the Reds have been regarded as one of the favorites to sign the 19-year-old. His striking performance in the German club and in World Cup stages has earned him the status of an upcoming superstar.
All eyes on the English Wonder kid
Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Real Madrid are also having an eye on the English Wonder kid. Los Blancos seems to be the Red’s biggest competitor for this transfer deal.
Although Liverpool are still considered as the favorite for this deal. The Merseyside giant’s relationship with the English international is the key to this deal. The English side is hoping to strike a deal in 2023, but Dortmund could ask for at least £130M to sanction a sale.
Jurgen Klopp’s statement on Bellingham
Klopp spoke to the media on Friday ahead of their Premier League Boxing day clash with Aston Villa, during which the German was asked about the possibility of signing Jude in mid-season.
Klopp insisted that he was not the right person to answer the question. He also insisted that Liverpool would ‘always’ be prepared for January signings.
“I am the wrong person to ask, I don’t know. January in our situation is a window where we are always prepared, that’s how it is”
, Klopp told reporters.
“it’s clear what ideas we have and how necessary is from our point of view. All the rest doesn’t lie 100% in our hands. We always work with what we have got and that will not change. I don’t know about what amount of money you need exactly but I am not against investment, to be honest.”
“We will see what the future brings. Nobody knows at the moment but I’m convinced it will be good and the future is bright for us. At the moment we have to sort the present and what we are working on.”
English boy shines in Bundesliga
Bellingham left his boyhood club Birmingham City at the age of 16 to sign for Dortmund in the summer of 2020, and he has since registered 19 goals and 21 assists in 112 outings for the Bundesliga club.
Will Liverpool be able to bring the BvB star to Anfield or it will be a race where money lures him away?
