Although Arne Slot is here to lead Anfield to a glorious future, the German mastermind concreted the stage. After the departure of Gareth Southgate, Jurgen Klopp does not want to fill his spot at England. It has been years since he has worked hard to bring LFC to a successful position.
Jurgen Klopp is not willing to work for England
After the awful heartbreak at the 2024 Euro, England seems to have to go through another one. Not long ago, Gareth Southgate announced his retirement from being the boss after the loss at the finals.
Although he left behind a void, football fans were preparing a list for the next England boss, and of course, Jurgen Klopp was in it.
Apart from Klopp, a few other names were up there; Thomas Tuchel, Lee Carsley, Graham Potter and Eddie Howe seem to be among the favourites.
Shortly after his departure, the 53-year-old man had to face the brutality of social media, too. The FA had hopes that Southgate would extend his contract and lead England in the 2026 Fifa World Cup.
A lot of football analysts claim that Southgate did the best thing by walking away. His contract was already on the verge of expiring, and Southgate wanted a fresh mastermind.
Considering the future, the team needs to be in good hands. However, according to sources, Jurgen Klopp does not want to be the next manager of England.
After he left Liverpool, he publicly stated that this was a time for him to take a break. Even though he is the best choice for building a solid future, Jurgen Klopp will not be leading England.
He led the Merseyside Club for almost 9 years, and it was the perfect time for him to take a leave.
