Jurgen Klopp confirms a star Liverpool defender to miss the game against Brighton

Team News comes from Anfield as Jurgen Klopp hints a Liverpool defender set to miss the game against Brighton today.
Klopp reveals a young Liverpool defender to miss the game against Brighton
Because Calvin Ramsay has been formally ruled out of Liverpool’s forthcoming match against Brighton & Hove Albion, the youngster will now have to wait a bit longer to make his debut for the Reds.
The young Scottish player was highly regarded when he moved to Aberdeen. He has been sitting out the whole season after a physical revealed a nagging problem. The young fullback is clearly having a difficult time right now. However, he can rest easy knowing that his boss is still quite optimistic about what he might be able to provide to the team in the future.
Calvin Ramsay may have been excused for believing his transition to life at Liverpool would have been a lot easier than the challenges he has put up with so far when he left his childhood club Aberdeen in July.
Klopp:
“He is an outstanding talent. We scouted him, I saw a lot of games of Calvin and he did exceptionally well”
A Probable Substitute for Trent Alexander-Arnold
It’s unfortunate that we’ll have to wait a little longer to see the 19-year-old who earned the Scottish Football Writers’ Association Young Player of the Year title for his noteworthy performances the previous season.
Although Ramsay won’t likely displace Trent Alexander-Arnold from the starting lineup once he is completely eligible. Especially since he has true competition on the right side can hardly be seen as a drawback.
The ideal scenario would be for the left flank, where Kostas Tsimikas has often flourished. He has been obliged to fill in for Andy Robertson, to grow similarly.
Given the kind of players the Scot will be competing for playing time with, it’s a tough task. However, based on Klopp’s words, it looks like a challenge he’ll be up for.
