“If you face United” – What Jurgen Klopp thinks about Liverpool’s next clash?

The Red’s manager Jurgen Klopp feels ‘ready’ to face their arch-rivals Man United on Sunday at Anfield.
The Reds defeated Wolves 2-0 on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.
This result sees them move up to sixth in the Premier League table but they are still 10 points behind Erik ten Hag’s team ahead of Sunday’s clash at Anfield.
Klopp on Liverpool vs Man United
In the pre-match press conference, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said:
“We have to be ready, and we will give them a big fight. If you face United, whichever result you’ve had before- either you have to strike back or whatever but now we have to use [the result] from our situation. We have to build on the performance and on the result and we try everything to do exactly that.”
The 55-year-old further added saying
“I think Man United is the team in form in the moment, them together with Arsenal and City,”
The German also said
“The teams up there, they are all in a pretty good moment and maybe they will be a bit fresher than us, but it’s a home game and it’s Anfield.”
The Reds are highly optimistic after the Wolves win. On speaking about that game, the Red’s head coach said on BBC Sport
“We controlled the game without creating massively, but we found our rhythm back. The second half, we started a bit hectic, then we scored a wonderful goal which is disallowed.”
“Very often when that happens it stays 0-0 or we lose with a late goal, but the boys really wanted it. You have to break an opponent down step by step.”
The Reds are looking for a win to salvage something out of this season. Klopp’s troops should now start hunting on their home turf.
