10 Liverpool players on loan were in action this weekend before the international break including new signing Giorgi Mamardashvili.
The Reds are off to a flying start in the Premier League as they sit on top after match week 7, but let’s look at how the players on loan are performing.

Kaide Gordon on loan at Norwich City scored his first senior goal for the club. It’s his first goal in 32 months, his last goal came against Shrewsbury in January 2022. Gordon missed over 18 months of football due to adolescent musculoskeletal issues.
Ben Doak, on loan at Middlesbrough played 65 minutes as they lost 2-1 to Watford on Saturday. Lewis Koumas another one of Liverpool’s players on loan had a quiet match as Stoke drew 0-0 at Swansea. Koumas came on after the 60th minute.
Nat Philips played 15 minutes as Derby beat Queens Park Rangers by 2 goals to one. Owen Beck on loan at Blackburn was serving the final game of his three-match ban incurred due to his red card against Preston. But the left-back played for the Blackburn U21s as they beat Leicester by 3 goals to 2, and had a great game.
Two Liverpool players are on loan at Wigan Athletic, Luke Chambers and Calvin Ramsey. Ramsey missed the match at the weekend against Stockport County due to injury, Chambers played the full 90 minutes in their 0-0 draw. Former Liverpool midfielder Thiago was in attendance at Edgeley Park.
Rhys Williams started for Morecambe as they lost 2-1 to Accrington Stanley. Marmadashvili played on Friday night and kept his third clean sheet against Leganes. Stefan Bajcetic on loan at RB Salzburg suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat to Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga.
