Which Liverpool striker are Championship sides keen on snatching up?

Stoke City, Blackburn Rovers and Preston North End are among a number of Championship clubs that want to sign young Liverpool striker Jayden Danns on loan until the end of the season.

As Liverpool weighs the option of sending Jayden Danns on loan for the rest of the season, three Championship clubs have expressed interest in securing a deal.

The 19-year-old forward recently returned from a long-term back injury to contend as an attacking option for Arne Slot’s team. The forward who scored in the recent FA Cup victory over Accrington Stanley, has made two appearances off the bench in recent weeks for the Reds.

While Danns is one of the players intended to send out on loan, Arne Slot has admitted that Diogo Jota’s recent injury has created a dilemma for the club as they weigh and assess both the short-term and long-term impact on the team and the player.

This has however not hampered Championship clubs from lining up to sign the Englishman on loan, with The Athletic’s James Pearce pointing out Stoke City, Blackburn Rovers and Preston North End as potential suitors.

They are among a host of championship clubs keen to land the forward, who has made 7 senior club appearances till date.

A chance to be involved regularly at the senior level would be an invaluable opportunity for Danns, but persistent fitness issues across Slot’s forward line leave a lot to ponder.

The club have until 11 p.m. (GMT) on February 3 to make a final decision on the teenager’s future.
