Don Hutchison thinks FSG could help fund Liverpool in signing players in midfield. Jude Bellingham and Brighton’s star Moises Caicedo could be the prime targets in the summer transfer window.

The former Liverpool midfielder thinks the duo are ‘two quality players’. Moreover, he feels Jude Bellingham would still be persuaded to join Jurgen Klopp’s side, even if they miss out on Champions League football as he could fill in the boots of great Steven Gerrard by wearing the infamous number eight shirt.

That seems likely by the week, with the Reds 11 points behind fourth-placed Newcastle United following their most recent 3-0 loss at the hands of Wolves.

The Ex-PL player is pretty confident and upbeat that those much-needed midfielders could arrive during the summer transfer window.

“If he holds his hand out to FSG in the summer and says I want 200 million and they say no”

said, Hutchison.

Don commented on FSG, Liverpool and the midfield crisis of the Reds

He also said

“You can get Bellingham and Caicedo. There are two off the top of my head.”

“You can get two quality players for £200 million. My worry is, if FSG turnaround and say ‘no’, then he might be thinking ‘what do you want me to do here? Chelsea are spending 600 million”

Don also added

“He (Bellingham) is going to Liverpool and he will take the number eight start. Ancelotti got asked the question a couple of weeks ago ‘do you like Jude Bellingham’, he said ‘yes, I like him, but I will stick with the three I have got.”

“There are three clubs, realistically, that he’s going to join. It’s going to be Real Madrid, Man City or Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool could sell it to Jude Bellingham saying ‘this is a one-off’. I don’t think you would choose Man United over Man City, Real Madrid or Liverpool.”

The Merseyside giants are in desperate need to sign a midfielder. But will FSG be investing enough in the next transfer window?
