It’s that part of the year that brings plenty of questions for football fans, and Liverpool fans weren’t shy of asking questions.

How good was Liverpool in the entire 2021-22 season. The relentless Merseysiders played every possible game that came to a close at the end of May.

A remarkable achievement for the side who went all out for all the possible four competitions. Eventually won the domestic cup double and narrowly missed out on both League and Champions League.

Meanwhile, now the focus is on next season, and as Jurgen Klopp said after the Champions final loss, ‘We will go again, definitely’

Meanwhile, this period leaves fans with lots of questions, and Liverpool fans have been busy raising their questions. To name a few, transfer window talks, new fixtures, and pre-season are some of the queries.

Six questions Liverpool fans are asking

When will we see Nunez in an LFC shirt?

At the time of writing this, there has been an announcement from Benfica that Darwin Nunez has been sold to Liverpool. The Portuguese club confirms that £75 million is the deal and could rise up to an additional £25 million on bonuses.

Nunez is set to sign a reported six-year contract with the Anfield club.

The transfer eclipsed Liverpool’s club-record £75 million paid to Southampton for Dutch center-back Virgil van Dijk in 2018.

Are any other deals in the works?

Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay is the next potential signing to follow Nunez at Liverpool. The 18-year-old is seen as Trent Alexander-Arnold’s deputy at the right-back position.

Liverpool are in the market for a cover for Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back, and Ramsay is the player Jurgen Klopp and the club’s recruitment team have identified as its first choice target.

The Scottish Premiership side is demanding £5m outright this summer, with subsequent add-ons to any deal which could reach up to £8.5m.

Meanwhile, Ramsay’s signing will signal Neco Williams to move out of the club permanently. Moreover, Sadio Mane, Takumi Minamino, and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain are all expected to leave this summer.

When are the 2022/23 fixtures released?

In just a few more days to go until Liverpool discovers what the new season has in store. On Thursday, June 16 at 9 am (BST) the fixtures are scheduled to be released.

Moreover, in just over seven weeks before the start of the upcoming 2022-23 Premier League season. On August 5,6 and 7 the Premier League is ready to kick off.

When do international players end their season?

With the current ongoing National League competition, it is insane how the footballing calendar was made abundantly.

It is completely exhausting for a team like Liverpool, whose players played each and every game possible throughout the season. Throwing up a ridiculous number of Nations League games into the schedule is just right for players.

A total of 18 senior Liverpool players were called up for international duty, 10 concluded prior to June 11, but the rest will finish up on June 14, 304 days after the Reds’ season started at Norwich.

How far away is pre-season?

On July 4 just after five weeks after the Champions League final, Klopp’s squad is expected to reassemble.

The German will hope for the majority of the squad to be ready for the first day. But a number of players will be handed extra time to rest following their international duties.

The likes of Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Roberto Firmino, and Luis Diaz should be on the training ground on the first day having not taken part in International duty.

And are any summer games confirmed?
