Maintaining contact and offering to assist the club in any way Dirk Kuyt is amenable to rejoining Liverpool under the direction of new manager Arne Slot.
Dirk Kuyt For Liverpool
After speaking with Arne Slot the new manager of the team former Liverpool player Dirk Kuyt made some vague allusions to a possible Anfield comeback.
After spending six years at Liverpool scoring more than seventy goals Kuyt made the switch to coaching and is now in charge of Belgian team Beerschot.
He was full of praise for Slot saying,
“Arne Slot is a family man but he’s also a guy who is so into football – he’s into 24/7 football,”
referring to their time together at Feyenoord and expressing his readiness to assist Liverpool in any way that he could.
Strong Desire in Slot
Kuyt said,
“Of course if I can help Liverpool in any way then I will as he thought back on his time at the club and his continued relationship with the Anfield community.
I’ve kept in touch with club members all along.”
He mentioned that Slot had also coached his son who plays in Feyenoord’s academy and praised Slot’s commitment to football and his ability to connect with both players and fans.
Kuyt seems to have a strong desire to help Liverpool succeed going forward under Slot’s direction based on his remarks.
The Reds Bond
Kuyt is still well-liked at Liverpool as he succeeds in his managerial career.
After a brief employment at ADO Den Haag, he started his coaching career and was promoted to Beerschot in Belgium.
Kuyt’s admirers, who recall his significant contributions during his playing career, are excited about his possible return to Liverpool whether in a coaching position or in another capacity.
When Kuyt thought back on his relationship with the team he said highlighting his enduring bond with the group and its supporters being one of the best-supported clubs in the Premier League,
“You become part of a family when you sign for Liverpool.”
