EA Sports FC fever is here, and Liverpool’s Diogo Jota is already stirring the pot, in a cheeky reel shared on Liverpool’s official Instagram, Jota challenged former Juventus star Federico Chiesa to a one-on-one in the newly launched EA Sports FC 25.
The banter between the two players has fans buzzing ahead of Liverpool’s clash against Wolves today.
EA Sports FC: Jota vs. Chiesa
The video starts with Jota playfully asking Chiesa if he’s up for a game. When Chiesa accepts the challenge, Alexis Mac Allister steps in to check if it’s a 2v2 or a 1v1.
Jota confidently declares, “I play him, he is afraid, you know,” leaving fans laughing at the playful jab. Chiesa’s response? “1v1 in Ultimate Team,” to which Jota coolly replies, “Deal, it’s booked.”
Mac Allister wasn’t shy about warning Chiesa, saying, “Jota is too good,” a fact most Liverpool fans would agree with.
The Reds star is a known gamer, so Chiesa might need all the luck he can get in this virtual duel!
Can Wolves handle the heat today?

While Jota and Chiesa are set for a showdown in the gaming world, Liverpool faces Wolves in a real-life battle today at Molineux.
Wolves have lost more Premier League games to Liverpool than any other opponent, suffering 14 defeats in their last 15 encounters. Their last win came in February 2023, but with Liverpool winning five of their last six games, the Reds will be looking to keep up the pressure.
Wolves, meanwhile, haven’t secured a league win this season, and their 17-match run without a clean sheet doesn’t bode well for their chances today. The last time Wolves went on a run this bad was back in 2011-12.
Liverpool, on the other hand, have been solid at the back, keeping a clean sheet in all their recent wins.
