This win was the first-ever win since 1975 that Liverpool managed to win in their first game against Man Utd at Old Trafford. However, there are still several key issues the club needs to tackle moving forward.
Slot list of priorities for Liverpool ahead
The contracts of vital players – Virgil van Dijk, winger Mo Salah and English star Alexander-Arnold are in their final year, making them at the top of the list for fans to retain their stars at Anfield.
Liverpool’s midfield seems to lack the depth that is required to be on top of the packed schedule they have this season, one injury to Ryan Gravenberch can be chaotic for Liverpool.
