Liverpool head coach Arne Slot is reportedly open to selling both Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher next summer.
The unimaginable form and success of the Merseyside giants, both domestically and internationally, have been noticed by almost every football enthusiast.
The takeover of new head coach Arne Slot from the former manager Jurgen Klopp has seen a seamless transformation of the Reds.
As the Dutchman took control of the side, the Anfield side is topping both the PL and UCL charts boasting impressive records.
The whole of the squad has performed exceptionally well in this season to outscore them largely.
However, another aspect of LFC that might have gone unnoticed is that their ability to concede fewer goals.
In the PL after 11 games, Liverpool have conceded only six goals, the lowest of any PL team so far.
And in the Champions League, the Reds have conceded only one goal after four games. Only Inter Milan and Atalanta boast a better tally than them as they’re yet to concede any goals.
The defense has been performing above average as in the PL, they have a xGA (expected goals against) of 1.20 per game whereas they’ve only conceded 0.55 goals per game (stats via FootyStats).
Although Alisson has missed half of the games till date due to injury, his deputy Caoimhin Kelleher has performed equally well, if not better.

Arne Slot takes shocking decision regarding Liverpool starters
The two goalkeepers have already established themselves as two strong contenders to start for the Merseysiders.
However, the Reds have also signed Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili for €30m this summer after his impressive performances in the Euro 2024.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper is currently at his former club Valencia on a season-long loan and will join the Anfield giants at the end of this season.
As he has been assured that he will be getting a regular starting position in this LFC team, Slot is ready to sell Alisson and Kelleher coming summer, as reported by TBR Football.
Considering that Mamardashvili has not yet proved himself in the PL, the move might seem risky. Although Kelleher and the Georgian international can be considered at par, the former is accustomed to the PL and the UCL.
In the case of Alisson, although he is still one of the best keepers in the world, his recent injury history and Saudi interest can help LFC to cash in on a big money move.
Whatever may come, Liverpool must factor in all crucial points before taking any decision that might pinch them in the future.
