Arne Slot has addressed that he might be benching South American players Alexis Mac Allister, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez for the Liverpool Vs. Southampton game.
The Reds get back in Premier League action on Sunday as they will be locking horns with Southampton after the November international break.
The Merseysiders head into the game as the favourites and the table-toppers with 28 points in just 11 games.
If they are able to secure the three points from this match, they will extend their five-point lead at the top of the table by eight.
However, as the record of this season suggests, LFC lost their only match of this season so far against Nottingham Forest after returning from an international break.
So Arne Slot & Co. have to be very careful in their approach as they will target for a victory.

Slot to take decision for Liverpool Vs. Southampton
Ahead of the PL clash, the Anfield boss spoke about the condition of the squad. Highlighting the stress factor of the players due to international duties, Slot said that he might be benching Latin American players.
Speaking on Friday, the Dutchman said,
“I will particularly keep an eye on the players that have come back from South America – and that is not only Macca [Mac Allister]. It’s also Darwin and Lucho [Diaz].
You have to keep an eye on them, especially the ones who played twice for 90 minutes.
[They] normally [have] jet lag as well. That’s the only difference maybe between team selection for now than for all the other games because in all the other games you also look at the players and get the information from your staff members and look at the opponent.”
Considering what happened last time, Slot will not be taking any risks, instead he will be trying to secure the three points to extend their lead at the top.
