Liverpool under Arne Slot so far – Shocking stats raise the heat!

Liverpool have been excellent under the new head coach Arne Slot since day one and these stats raise hope for the 2024-25 title charge.

With only three games under his belt as the head coach of the Anfield club, Arne Slot has won over our hearts within the first month of the Premier League.

After three consecutive victories in his maiden Liverpool season, it is safe to say that the Dutch boss has arrived in fashion in England.

His playstyle, which is very similar to that of former manager Jurgen Klopp, has produced results that definitely catch an eye.

The first two matches ended with a classic 2-0 scoreline against Ipswich Town and Brentford that set the tone for the upcoming big match against their archrivals Manchester United.

And right before entering the first international break of this season, they thrashed the Red Devils 3-0 at their home.

Claiming nine points from the three games played so far in the PL, the Reds sit second at the table, right below Manchester City who lead due to goals scored.

Prior to the United match, the Merseyside giants had put forward four goals while maintaining two cleansheets.

LFC were also boasting the highest PL xG this season (5.3) with the most number of shots taken (37). They also had the lowest xGA (1).

And after annihilating their archnemesis, they now have 8.75 xG, 2.30 xGA along with seven goals scored and zero goals conceded so far (stats via Understat).

With the massive victory at Old Trafford, Arne Slot became the second Reds manager to win the maidan match against the Manchester side since legendary Bob Paisley did so back in 1975.

These stats raise hopes for the title charge and definitely strengthen the faith on the new Dutchman.
