Liverpool No.10 Alexis Mac Allister has spoken out on the contract situation of Trent, Mo Salah, and Van Dijk. Mac Allister hopes the trio comes to an agreement with the club and stays beyond this season.
With contracts expiring this summer, the three players are free to negotiate a pre-contract with other clubs starting in January. Therefore the club should give three of their best players a new contract before January.

Mac Allister on Mo Salah contract situation
Post the Southampton match Mo Salah had revealed he is yet to receive any offer from the club. Van Dijk also revealed discussions are ongoing but there is no agreement yet. Both the players have publicly expressed their desire to stay.
Alexis Mac Allister speaking to ESPN Argentina: “Obviously we want to share a lot of years with [Salah], but that’s a personal decision. The club has to make a decision, we can’t get involved”
“Hopefully they can come to an agreement because we want him and Virgil and Trent to continue with us.” Mac Allister added

However, there are reports the club will offer the trio new contracts in the upcoming weeks. It is imperative the club reach an agreement with them before it is too late.
