Former Liverpool player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been told to leave by Turkish Club Beşiktaş as he is no longer part of their plans.
Joining Liverpool from Arsenal in 2017 for £35 million, Oxlade-Chamberlain has won both the Champions League and Premier League with Liverpool.
He left Liverpool to join Turkish side Beşiktaş in 2023, but things haven’t worked out well for him in Turkey.
Alex Oxlade- Chamberlain Set To Leave Beşiktaş
Beşiktaş have told Oxlade Chamberlain that he is no longer part of their plans for the coming season.
According to The Mirror, Beşiktaş want to find a club keen to pay his wages with a loan move also possible.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had interest from Premier League clubs before moving to Turkey. Oxlade-Chamberlain had 30 appearances for Beşiktaş.
But Beşiktaş had a very inconsistent season with four managers taking charge they finished 6th in the league and won the Turkish Cup.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is the manager of Beşiktaş now and has made it clear to Chamberlain that he is free to leave.
Injury spoiled his time at Liverpool. Signed for £35 million from rivals Arsenal but was let go on a free transfer.
It is reported that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was offered English clubs with the player keen to move back to the UK. Oxlade-Chamberlain still has two years left on his contract with Beşiktaş.
