The 26 year old recently became club captain and Liverpool are long admirers of Bruno Guimaraes. Liverpool missed out on Zubimendi, but Guimaraes might offer more than what Zubimendi did.

Ryan Gravenberch has performed well in the first two matches at the No.6 role, but his out of possession weaknesses are evident. Bruno Guimaraes is good play maker, a great passer of the ball, he can play line breaking passes.
