Naby Keita is still out, but the 25-man Liverpool team was seen working out on Friday with no fresh injuries in preparation for the trip to lock horns with Tottenham.

Naby Keita will miss the match against Tottenham

The Reds are seeking to build on a commanding 2-0 victory over Napoli. They will travel to the capital this weekend. Klopp’s troops are ought to play Spurs in a late Sunday kickoff.

The main positive for Jurgen Klopp’s team have been their progress in the Champions League thus far, despite the manager’s ongoing struggle with injuries.

Even if James Milner (concussion) is the most recent player to be ruled out as his team gets ready for a match in north London, this situation has not changed. On the plus side, there are no new problems.

At the AXA Training Center on Friday, cameras were present for a portion of Liverpool’s practice, and 20 outfield players were seen.

What can be expected?

Ibrahima Konate, Thiago, Curtis Jones, Darwin Nunez, and Calvin Ramsay were among those that participated after completing their first 90 minutes of injury recovery.

Jordan Henderson was back with the group after missing the victory over Napoli. And it looks like the captain will start again this coming weekend.

Meanwhile, Keita was in full training at the end of October. But he looks to have suffered another setback. The 27-year-old was still missing, and Klopp didn’t anticipate him to play before the World Cup.

However, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is making progress toward reaching full health. And he might be considered for the starting lineup when Derby comes to town the following week.

Young players Bobby Clark and Stefan Bajcetic were also seen participating in senior training on Friday. Caoimhin Kelleher may potentially make his season debut at that time.

But for the time being, attention is on Tottenham. And Klopp is probably going to start his best team against Antonio Conte’s third-place team. Jones and the missing Milner will probably opt-out, while Henderson and Nunez could both opt-in.
